Lead Veterinary Technician

to Urgent & Primary Care. Responsibilities
Team Leadership : Guide and mentor the Technician and Assistant team across your clinic to ensure seamless operations. Procedure & Standards Development : Collaborate on Medical Procedures and Standards of Care across all Sploot locations. Recruitment & Training : Assist in building a team of “rockstars,” plus oversee training to maintain exceptional patient care. Lead by Example : Work as the Lead Technician on the clinic floor, setting the bar for best practices and patient-centered care. Culture Champion : Promote the Sploot culture by encouraging flexibility, work-life balance, and team support to keep everyone happy and thriving. Qualifications
Certification : Current CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT (must have passed the VTNE). Experience : At least 3+ years as a veterinary technician in general medicine and/or surgery. Leadership Skills : Proven experience leading teams, delegating tasks, and driving accountability. Collaborative Mindset : Thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at teamwork and communication. High Standards : A “bar raiser” who actively seeks to elevate the team’s capabilities and patient outcomes. What Catches Our Eye
Emergency/Urgent Care Experience : Background in ER or urgent care settings. Management Certification : Certified Veterinary Clinic Manager licensure (or similar) is a bonus. Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Pay : $30–$35 per hour, plus 1.5x pay on Sploot-recognized holidays. Healthcare : Health, Dental, and Vision insurance with generous employer contributions; HSA available. 401(k) Retirement : Company match to help support your future. Paid Time Off : 80 hours PTO starting, increasing with tenure. Parental Leave : 10 weeks paid parental leave.
