VCA Fleming Island Animal Hospital
is hiring a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician, or experienced veterinary assistant to join our
Fear Free Certified
team! We are a 2-doctor full service veterinary hospital offering primary care, illness care, surgery and dentistry located in Fleming Island, FL. We care for canine and feline companions, and pocket pets as well. Ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, mice, hedgehogs, and reptiles are welcome. Our hospital supports the community by working with local rescue organizations, such as the Jacksonville Humane Society, Safe Animal Shelter, and additional local rescue organizations. Our team celebrates all holidays and invites clients to use our monthly themed photo booth with their pets to create memories to last a lifetime. Our team takes pride in fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and recognition while being adaptable, goal driven and engaged. We hire associates who are determined to rise above obstacles and work as a team. We truly bring hometown care to our clients and love connecting with them by sending photos of their furry companions during procedures or boarding. Whether you are a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) or technician in training, we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to: Physical examinations, patient assessment, and recovery Procedural anesthesia and monitoring IV fluid administration and CRI calculations Hands Free Radiology and diagnostic imaging Client communications and discharge Why VCA
