Ecolab is seeking an outstanding performer to join our Greensboro site as an
EHS Manager . This role involves leading and managing EHS programs, ensuring compliance, and delivering results for a specific business, facility, or region. The manager will spearhead key programs or Centers of Excellence and collaborate with leaders to identify SHE priorities, programs, performance metrics, communication strategies, and change management initiatives. Additional Notes 30% travel required for on-site inspections, audits, and hands-on support. Reports to the NA SHE Manager for the EC3. Interfaces with Corporate ESG and Environmental policies to ensure compliance internally and externally. Provides support for North American Logistics sites regarding environmental compliance. What You Will Do Support new buildings by assessing environmental impact, securing permits, and developing site-specific programs. Develop and implement strategies for managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with regulations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (e.g., CWA, CAA, EPCRA, TSCA, RCRA, OPA, CERCLA, SARA). Manage environmental data as mandated by permits or regulations and prepare related reports. Supervise infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with air, water, and waste regulations. Coordinate with consultants to complete environmental projects on time and within budget. Serve as the primary regulatory contact at all levels. Conduct technical analysis of environmental data to support corporate metrics and agency reporting. Deliver environmental training programs in collaboration with Ecolab University. Participate in environmental audits, document and track corrective actions, and respond to external agencies. Oversee environmental software solutions to improve business performance. Implement and maintain programs for continuous EMS improvement in line with ISO 14001. Manage the Sustainability Program, including data collection to support sustainability goals. Coordinate spill response programs. Assist with Safety and SMS-related projects and processes. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering, or equivalent education and 8+ years of relevant experience. Experience overseeing environmental compliance in an industrial setting. Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations at federal, state, and local levels. Familiarity with air emissions, pollution control, permitting, and modeling. Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, and web-based software solutions. Preferred Qualifications Professional certifications such as CSP or CAPA are preferred.
