We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a

Project Manager, Civil/Environmental Engineer

with strong technical and managerial skills to lead a variety of projects. This is a full-time position located in our Cary, NC or Charlotte, NC offices. Responsibilities

Serve as a key member of the environmental remediation group in the southeast to work collaboratively with a team supporting a wide variety of clients. Develop strong client relationships by understanding client technical and safety needs. Plan and execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary and scheduling requirements. Plan and direct environmental field observation and testing programs; including laboratory test selection and data evaluation. Lead development of technical approaches for design-phase documents, obtaining project permits, and implementing remedial construction. Manage design teams to develop site/civil/remediation design packages for safe construction. Develop remedial alternatives assessments, cost analyses, and construction cost estimates. Manage treatability tests, pilot tests, pre-design investigations. Provide construction-phase engineering support including submittals review, contractor pay requisitions, change orders, and RFI. Ensure designs comply with client objectives and regulatory requirements. Coach and mentor junior staff; assign and manage work for others. Communicate clearly in client deliverables and internally. Support marketing of additional services to existing clients. Comply with company guiding principles, code of behavior, and health & safety protocols. Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master’s preferred. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in environmental regulations, due diligence, investigations, remediation, and construction support. NC or SC Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months of hire. Experience designing remediation plans and specifications for contaminated sites; design/build experience is a plus. Experience with landfill capping and liner systems a_plus. Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience managing all phases of projects including delegation, schedule, cost, quality, and client relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Bluebeam; CAD/Civil3D a plus. OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and commitment to safety. About Haley & Aldrich
