North Risk’s Employee Benefits #oneTEAM seeks a driven and enthusiastic Risk Advisor. This role involves building business by identifying prospects, converting them to clients, and maintaining relationships with existing clients. Risk Advisors are expected to generate new business to meet sales goals set by North Risk Partners. Essential Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new business appointments Analyze and develop solutions for client insurance needs Build strong client relationships through advising and value-added services Sell/refer business across departments (property and casualty, employee benefits, personal lines) Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes Participate in sales training meetings Maintain positive relationships with partner insurance carriers Fill the sales pipeline and meet monthly goals Record activity and relevant information in company software Follow all regulations and best practices to avoid errors Manage overdue accounts receivable Continue professional development and pursue relevant designations Travel as needed for client meetings Requirements
High school diploma, bachelor’s degree, and minimum 3 years sales experience Ability to obtain and maintain a life & health license Prospecting and proactive outreach experience Experience in building and maintaining relationships Behavior Expectations
Demonstrate core values, mission, and positive culture Maintain enthusiasm and a positive attitude Represent North Risk Partners professionally Collaborate effectively with team members Communicate well with clients and colleagues Physical Requirements
Perform under normal office conditions; lift up to 25 pounds Twist, bend, stand, walk, reach frequently Effective verbal communication skills Sit for extended periods; work at a computer Travel to various locations as needed Tools and Equipment Used
Telephone, calculators, copy machines, computers, printers, and other office tools. Work Environment
Primarily indoors, with travel required for outside events and meetings. Employees must acknowledge understanding and agreement to the position description and at-will employment status. Compensation and Benefits
Estimated salary range: $50,000 - $80,000 annually, plus commission and benefits. Benefits include health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), professional development, paid time off, holidays, and hybrid work options.
