As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in managing the month-end close process for a portfolio of clients. This includes reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and analysis. You’ll work under the guidance of the team’s Controller and collaborate closely with the Assistant Controller. This is a full-cycle accounting role designed for problem-solvers who enjoy client interaction and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
Manage month-end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple clients Collaborate with the team’s Controller and Assistant Controller to ensure accuracy and timeliness for outstanding client experience Participate in special projects and client initiatives as needed Maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism in all communications and deliverables Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required) 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience Experience with QuickBooks is highly preferred (training provided) Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong Excel skills and comfort with varied accounting applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Self-motivated, outgoing, and able to work independently or as part of a team Service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills Growth & Development
