is currently expanding our service operations in our Livermore, CA location and offers tremendous opportunities to those service minded individuals in the fire protection/life safety marketplace.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide reliable, excellent quality customer support through on-site inspections and preventative maintenance services on electrical fire alarm systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform routine inspections, testing and preventive maintenance of electronic fire alarm systems with minimal supervision

Front line customer service and care

Diagnose and evaluate systems that require servicing as well as troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections

Provide solutions and/or recommendations to bring systems back in operating working condition in the most beneficial way for the customer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

3 - 4 years previous work experience in fire alarm system inspections or similar trade within fire protection industry

Must be able to read blueprints, diagrams, operation/product manuals ,

schematics, software/system programs, specifications and/or submittals

Knowledge of multi-meters, frequency meters, decibel meters and communication devices desired.

Be proficient in completing accurate and legible paperwork, which can be interpreted by others.

Additional Qualifications:

Ability to work in small and confined spaces (if needed)

Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Capable of performing physical labor, able to climb ladders and work on rooftops,

Experience with Edwards, Notifier, Siemens and/or Simplex systems a plus.

Knowledge and understanding of NFPA standards.

Must be able to work alternate shifts and work overtime (if required)

Must be punctual, have excellent work ethics and strong organizational skills.

NICET Level II preferred

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High School graduate or GED

CA Driver's License with clean DMV record

Holds local license(s) required to perform inspections
