One-year Visiting Assistant Professor Of Psychology
The Psychology Department at Colorado College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology starting in Fall 2025. The successful candidate will demonstrate strengths in Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and/or Industrial/Organizational Psychology. The candidate must exhibit the potential for excellence in teaching to a diverse community of undergraduate students and must be able to contribute to the curriculum for psychology majors at introductory and advanced levels. The successful candidate will also be able to involve undergraduates in research. Finally, the candidate must share the institutional commitment to antiracist work and actively broadening participation in STEM fields by historically underrepresented groups. Colorado College operates under a unique academic model called the Block Plan. Students take one course at a time for three-and-a-half weeks with a four-day break between courses. Faculty teach six of the eight blocks in the academic year with the remaining two designated as non-teaching blocks. Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Psychology, ABD considered.
