The overall objective and purpose of the Food and Beverage Supervisor is to oversee floor coverage in the outlets and assist the serving staff in the restaurant, lounge, and in-room dining/pool service. The incumbent is responsible for supervising Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring guests receive an exceptional dining experience. They provide inspiring and strategic leadership while directing the activities of the Food and Beverage department in support of the company’s mission, core values, and goals. Responsibilities

Supervise daily shift operations. Ensure Grand Performers are in compliance with appearance standards. Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services for diners. Inspect kitchen and dining areas, utensils and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met. Requisition and inspect food, supplies, and equipment to maintain stock levels and quality standards. Ensure compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures. Maintain service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas. Act as guest service role model for the restaurant and create a positive atmosphere for guest relations. Assist servers on the floor during meal periods. Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course when needed. Assist dining room servers in food and beverage service, set tables, serve guests as directed by the server, keep menus clean, and maintain table cleanliness. Assist with providing tables with beverages. Replace dirty linens with clean linens as needed. Transport dirty dishes to the dish-washing station. Polish silver and glassware as needed. Present menu, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage. Seat guests in the dining room; explain, pair and recommend wine from the wine list. Serve food and beverages in a genuine, friendly, professional, and efficient manner consistent with the Kessler image and standards. Relay orders to the kitchen through POS and help serve courses from kitchen and service bars. Total bills and process payments as needed. Proficiently utilize the property management systems and follow cash handling procedures. Set up bar and dining room in a thorough and swift manner. Empower Grand Performers to provide excellent customer service. Ensure staff understands local, state, and Federal liquor laws; monitor alcohol service in compliance with local laws. Ensure POS operations and cash handling follow standard operating procedures. Edit work schedules and evaluate work performance of employees. Assign and coordinate work to promote operational efficiency. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tables at a time. Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma – required 1+ years of relevant work experience in a similar scope and title – required Experience within luxury brand/markets – preferred Food Safety Certification – preferred or attained within 30 days Alcohol Safety Certification – preferred or attained within 30 days Supervisory Responsibilities

Shift supervision of all applicable outlets including restaurant, lounge, Café, IRD, and pool serving staff and will act as the Restaurant Manager on Duty in the absence of the F&B Director, Outlet Manager or Restaurant Manager Work Environment

Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, without a private office. Must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines with optimism, professionalism & collaboration. Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands, often exceeding 40 hours. Must be able to work safely in a kitchen environment with high temperatures and humidity. Physical Demands

Regularly required to see, hear, reach, handle and feel, stand, stoop, bend and crouch up to 8 hours daily. Push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
