Design and implement safety and environmental policies and procedures, including written programs, recordkeeping, reports, inspections, monitoring, and testing; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations by staying informed about changes and implementing necessary adjustments to programs, processes, and policies. Deliver EHS training programs to employees at all levels to ensure understanding and adherence to safety and environmental regulations for all facilities. Conduct and document regular EHS audits and inspections to assure compliance with permits, regulations, and requirements. Coordinate visits from internal and external regulatory authorities and file annual local, state and federal environmental reports (e.g., air, waste, water, Tier II, and Form R). Assist site safety committee with inspections to ensure compliance and implement corrective and preventative actions for areas with hazards. Manage workers' compensation cases and EHS programs, including cost control/reduction, accident prevention/reduction, safety behavior audits, and risk assessment programs. Assist with proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in line with safety and environmental regulations. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in EHS performance by evaluating existing programs, identifying enhancement opportunities, and coordinating development of an EHS improvement plan with site managers. Analyze safety history, processes, machinery, and chemical exposures to identify hazards, trends, and develop strategies to prevent incidents. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field Certifications preferred or required: CHMM, ASP/CSP, CIH 3–6 years' experience in a related field Subject matter expert in a particular field Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Outlook Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentations) with leadership, staff, and clients Proactive with sound judgment and problem-solving abilities Self-confident, self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment Equal Opportunity
