About the Job

This position will require you to speak and read in both English and Hmong to recruit Hmong American research participants for brain health and aging registry and biorepository research study. Duties / Responsibilities

Recruitment and Enrollment (75%). Conduct community outreach within Hmong communities for clinical research studies; coordinate participant recruitment within the Hmong community; consent new recruits for Hmong American research in brain health, aging registry, and biorepository studies; perform psychometrics measures. Data Entry (20%). Input dataset entry into RedCap, NACC, and UDS; perform data inventory management. Data Analysis (5%). Perform data analysis; assist in manuscript preparation and submission. Qualifications

All required qualifications must be included in the application materials. Required Qualifications: BA/BS degree plus at least two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least six years Bilingual: Hmong and English Ability to work with the Hmong community to build trust and relationships with the research team and promote research in brain health Preferred Qualifications: Knowledgeable about clinical research in dementia patients Comfortable interacting with elderly individuals with cognitive deficits Fluent/proficient writing skills in Hmong Experience delivering bilingual (Hmong & English) psychometrics analysis of research participants Experience with bilingual clinical research studies About the Department
