Athletics - JV Head Boys Lacrosse Coach

The Potomac School . The Potomac School Athletic Department is looking to hire a qualified head coach for our JV Boys Lacrosse program for the 2024-25 school year. This is a part-time, seasonal position, paid through a stipend, and not benefit eligible. The role involves working with student athletes in a high academic environment. Potomac offers many advantages as a connected K-12 community, located just three miles from Washington, D.C., on 90 acres of beautiful, wooded campus. At The Potomac School, athletics are integral to a balanced education, emphasizing core values such as courage, integrity, humility, perseverance, and respect, which are cultivated through teamwork and competition. The school offers 23 interscholastic programs with 38 teams, including varsity and JV levels, competing in the Mid Atlantic Conference (MAC). Key Responsibilities
Guide the personal development of student-athletes. Organize, communicate, and implement daily practice plans. Communicate weekly schedules to parents. Support athletes in college recruiting processes. Meet with the Athletic Director at season start and end. Prepare and condition athletes. Lead game day equipment setup and preparations. Coordinate with Athletics for social media content creation. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
