Are you a skilled and highly motivated
Lead Generator Technician with 3 or more years of experience
who wants to learn and grow in a fast-paced telecom environment? Pearce has a career for you. Our Generator Technicians service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers in your region. This role is a great match for independent, self-starting professionals who are willing to travel. Core Responsibilities
Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing and replacing components or entire systems, and performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure readiness; reading and following blueprints or other design specifications to install or repair Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and other components, and test for proper operation Responding promptly to Power/Generator alarms; able to be on call 24/7 if necessary and respond promptly to calls and emails Performing work with awareness of hazards related to installation and maintenance of power supply equipment, switching gear, and related equipment; use safety equipment and participate in safety meetings Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs. Core Experience
Three or more years of experience
with generator maintenance preferred and a minimum of one year of experience with generator and electrical maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair; knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components; moderate computer skills Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations Physical/Work Environment

Requires lifting over 50 pounds, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and standing for long periods Must be able to inspect and troubleshoot equipment/alarms effectively, both visually and audibly Must be willing and able to drive long distances, work day, evening, or night hours; overtime, emergency callouts, weekends, and holidays as required; must assume 24-hour on-call duty when assigned and be away from home for extended periods Must be able to pass a DOT physical What We Offer
