Tax Senior - Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) - Central and East locations: 1218 Location: Chicago, NY, Hoboken, Iselin, Charlotte, Atlanta, Phoenix, Seattle, Dallas, Miami, Washington Responsibilities
Applying technical accounting knowledge to analyze account balances, reconciliations and other financial matter in the course of closing the accounts on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, validating the accuracy and completeness of the accounting and keeping the work on schedule during the close Following up on the status of deliverables and analyzing issues preventing completion; collaborating with others to problem-solve and mitigate risk of late filing and other compliance tasks Executing tasks in continuous improvement projects to drive quality, visibility, efficiency and client experience, including analyzing current process performance and how to improve it (e.g., evaluating manual journal entries to determine potential elimination via materiality thresholds or automation) Applying judgement in the resolution of accounting or process issues Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance or related business major or equivalent experience 3–4 years of experience Approved technical certification, CPA license or membership to state Bar or progress toward attaining those qualifications Knowledge of global statutory reporting and/or bookkeeping, preferably with multi-country experience Strong analytical, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; problem-solving ability and attention to detail Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and IT concepts Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; prioritize tasks and work with appropriate stakeholders Willingness to travel 20–30% to client locations Ideal Skills
