Bus Monitor - IDEA Hope (Immediate Opening). Role Mission: The Bus Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety of students by providing supervisory monitoring of students during transportation to/from school and on trips. Bus Monitors particularly ensure the safety of our youngest scholars (i.e. Pre-Kindergarten students) and special education scholars. What You’ll Do – Accountabilities

Provide a safe and orderly environment for students during transportation Supervise students loading and unloading the bus/van and during transportation Provide other support as requested, in order to ensure safe and efficient school operations at all times What You Bring – Competencies

Enjoys working with children Manages students in a firm and fair manner Strong communication skills with students and staff Flexibility to change Promptness and dependability Ability to learn systems and procedures quickly Qualifications

Education: HS diploma Experience working with students (preferred) Compensation
