Overview
Multi-Site Security Officer
- Flexible Availability Required Pay: $19 - $21/hour Schedule Overview: 30 - 40 hours per week assisting with site coverage for multiple client sites. Travel ranges from Orange to the Meriden area. Must have availability for at least two shifts and weekends (1st/2nd, 1st/3rd, 2nd/3rd). Shifts range from 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol client sites to maintain a safe and secure environment. Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the site. Provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Be comfortable with incident report writing and driving full-size SUVs on site. Respond to calls and interact with the client community. Stand for prolonged periods and walk long distances outdoors (approximately up to 6 miles per shift).
Qualifications
Active Connecticut State Guard Card REQUIRED Active Connecticut State Driver's License - Reliable transportation & Clean Motor Vehicle History High School Diploma or GED 1 year of Security Experience preferred; Military/Law Enforcement experience may substitute Calm, polite, and professional demeanor Reliable and self-motivated High level customer service
