Responsibilities As a key member of our Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability team, youll be the driving force behind cultivating a culture of safety, sustainability, and environmental excellence across our regional sites. You'll lead initiatives that reduce impact, ensure compliance, and foster continuous improvement.
Your mission will include:
Championing EHS&S culture through engagement and influence across all Wis-Pak locations.
Monitoring and maintaining compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Leading reporting efforts including OSHA 300 logs, hazardous waste, Tier II, stormwater, and wastewater.
Designing and executing a robust auditing process to identify gaps and drive proactive solutions.
Creating a dynamic incident-sharing and lessons-learned program to promote transparency and growth.
Conducting thorough incident investigations and root cause analyses.
Supporting the development of impactful EHS training programs.
Staying ahead of DOT, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory changes.
Collaborating on new equipment and facility designs to ensure ergonomic and safe environments.
Traveling up to 50% to support our sites.
Qualifications What we’re looking for
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related technical field.
3-5 years of multi-site EHS&S experience (REQUIRED).
Expertise in OSHA, EPA, hazardous materials, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
Strong skills in training development, incident investigation, and corrective action planning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and adaptability.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment—whether working independently or as part of a team.
