The expected pay rate is $28.00 - 43.00/hr. Operate and drive all types of GSE equipment — motorized and non-motorized. Perform and demonstrate competence in preventive maintenance per established schedules on all ground support equipment. Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic assessment of ground support equipment as required. Understand hydraulic basics and be willing to learn hydraulic systems. Airport deicing training will be required. Reporting to work during snow, ice and cold weather is required. Overtime may be necessary during weather emergencies. Work outside in all weather conditions year-round. Remove malfunctioning ground support equipment from service and ensure it is not returned to service until accurately diagnosed and repaired. Respond to emergency service calls and accidents involving GSE. Complete all maintenance/repair documentation in compliance with carrier, station, airport authority, municipal, state, federal and SP requirements. Comply with all security requirements at federal, provincial, municipal, airport authority and carrier levels. Maintain a motor vehicle driver’s license for both air side/non airside in good standing at all times. Follow all safety guidelines set out by WCB, EPA, WHMIS, and SP management. Keep GSE shop and equipment clean and serviceable; report deficiencies to management. Fuel equipment as necessary with full regard for safety and environmental requirements. Liaise professionally with Ramp management, customers and staff as needed. Operate as a self-starter and report to shop leads daily. Qualifications

Valid driver’s license. Must have tools. HEAVY DUTY TRUCK AND DIESEL EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS. Trade school training and/or mechanical background preferred. Good oral and written communication skills. Good computer skills. Willing to clean and maintain a safe workshop. Willing to travel when necessary for training or to assist other SP stations with GSE needs as required. What We Offer
