We're seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to ensure our state-of-the-art kitchens and onsite bakeries operate at peak performance. In this essential role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment for our 9 million square foot campus. Your expertise will help prevent equipment failures, minimize downtime, and support the seamless operation of our world-class culinary team. If you take pride in precision, problem-solving, and keeping essential systems running smoothly, we'd love to have you on our team. Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial cooking equipment Install, calibrate, and optimize kitchen ventilation and appliance systems Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections Ensure compliance with OSHA, refrigeration, gas, and electrical safety standards Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to resolve technical issues Core Equipment You'll Work On

Refrigeration: Walk-in coolers/freezers, blast chillers, ice machines Cooking Equipment: Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles, tilt skillets Ventilation & HVAC: Exhaust hoods, rooftop HVAC units, make-up air systems Dishwashing & Sanitation: High-capacity dishwashers, automated sanitation systems About Epic

EPA 608 certification Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship Willingness to relocate to the Madison, WI area COVID-19 vaccination Minimum 3 years of experience with: Commercial kitchen equipment service and repair Installation and service of cooler/freezer refrigeration systems Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics Gas-fired equipment and gas piping systems
