Senior Tax Accountant — This position is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to join our dynamic team and leverage their skills in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Tax Accountant will manage and monitor all aspects of our tax operations and ensure that our clients are in compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws. Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr What you’ll do
Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns Advise clients on tax strategy, compliance, and planning — not just during tax season Research complex tax issues and explain them in plain English Work directly with business owners and decision-makers Collaborate with a team that supports one another Why join us

Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for high net worth individuals and corporations Developing and implementing tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize profit Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations Researching and interpreting tax laws to provide accurate tax advice to management Assisting with tax audits and resolving any tax-related issues Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and advising management on implications Collaborating with other departments to integrate tax considerations into business operations Providing guidance and training to junior tax staff Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a Master’s in Taxation is preferred A CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with focus on federal, state, and local tax compliance and planning Proven experience in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for high net worth individuals and corporations In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations and ability to interpret and apply them Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Proficiency in tax preparation and research software Equal Opportunity
