Hybrid Accounting & Business Finance Leader
to lead our accounting operations and deliver strategic financial support directly to the
COO and Owner . This is a hybrid role offering the best of both worlds: a collaborative, in-office environment with the flexibility to work remotely part of the week. You’ll be responsible for the full scope of accounting functions while also playing a critical role in financial planning, business analytics, KPI development, and driving insights that shape high-level decisions. What You’ll Do Manage day-to-day accounting operations: invoicing, A/R, A/P, G/L, cash management, fixed assets, depreciation, accruals, and expense tracking. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models. Develop internal controls and process improvements to ensure financial accuracy and scalability. Provide direct financial support and analysis to the
COO and owner , assisting with operational strategy and decision-making. Collaborate with HR on payroll functions and labor tracking reports. Create dashboards, reports, and KPIs to drive business intelligence and operational efficiency. Coordinate quarterly tax filings and provide required documentation to external CPAs. Contribute to company-wide growth initiatives by delivering insightful financial data and supporting strategic planning. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience Experience with
Sage ERP
(highly desired) Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Advanced analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights High emotional intelligence and clear communication skills—able to work closely with leadership Comfort in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a desire for continuous improvement Integrity, discretion, and a proactive mindset Hybrid schedule : collaborative in-person time with flexibility to work remote Beautiful office space
