Property Tax Senior Analyst
to join our growing team in the Plano, TX, or Wichita, KS office. The tax team at Koch Inc. is a strategic partner to the businesses they support by identifying opportunities, driving process improvements, and communicating tax impacts of transactions. Our Team The property tax compliance group is responsible for preparing property tax returns, reviewing assessments, estimating property taxes, managing tax bills, reviewing fixed assets, and defending audits. What You Will Do
Review annual property tax returns in a timely manner and assist in managing the compliance process. Coordinate with outside vendors on return preparation. Compile and review data, research new investments, and identify discrepancies to ensure returns reflect accurate and complete information. Work with business units and incentives team to project tax impact of potential projects. Manage audit risk and create long term value by reviewing assets, researching positions, obtaining exemptions, and improving processes. Review real and personal property assessment notices. Hold Co-source partner accountable with value notices, value variance reports, and tax estimates. Partner with internal groups to gain and share knowledge and support business goals. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Experience in tax compliance, business accounting, or finance Review of compliance documents (i.e.- tax returns, assessment notices, and tax bills) Ability to research, gather data, and present to varying levels in the business Experience with Microsoft Applications, Alteryx, Copilot, and/or Power BI Strong communication, analytical thinking, and economic reasoning skills What Will Put You Ahead
