At TCP Software, finances are the fuel that keeps our company moving. We are looking for a qualified Senior Revenue Accountant to assist the Revenue Manager in the ownership of our Revenue close and oversee revenue recognition as it relates to ASC 606. This role will primarily be focused on revenue accounting, including revenue recognition and related revenue account balances. You will be a key member of the revenue accounting close process, preparing journal entries, explaining fluctuations, and preparing account reconciliations. You will also assist in the annual audit. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and can follow directions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality and accuracy. Technically you would have a good understanding of the intricacies of ASC 606 and its application. Senior Revenue Accountant Responsibilities

Participate in revenue month-end close process by creating and validating accruals, preparing journal entries. Prepare monthly account reconciliations for Deferred Revenue and Accounts Receivable Reserves to be reviewed and signed off on promptly each month-end close. Assist in maintaining revenue recognition policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with ASC 606. Prepare revenue recognition entries for Professional Services percent completion projects recognized through Zuora RevPro. Support the audit preparation process, including compiling PBCs and delivering requests in a timely manner. Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as needed. Assist in various ad-hoc projects such as system upgrades and integration of business acquisitions. Work collaboratively with other members of finance to assist with revenue variance explanations. Requirements

Proficiency with NetSuite and/or Zuora (RevPro) revenue recognition accounting systems Experience in applying ASC 606, specifically for enterprise software-as-a-service and hardware revenue recognition A minimum of 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting, ideally with a mix of industry and public accounting experience Strong communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to summarize key accounting and operational issues to management Proven expertise with Excel Experience implementing an ERP, revenue recognition, or billing system Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in business administration, economics, finance, accounting, or related field CPA (preferred but not required) Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Benefits
