Staff Accountant I position with a Kforce client in the Saint Louis, MO area. The role is suited for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. $65,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Prepare general ledger entries in compliance with accounting standards using Microsoft Dynamics GP Manage loan schedules and execute wire transfers/ACHs for distributions, advances, and payments with proper approvals Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies Interpret legal documents related to ground lease loans and renewable energy assets Maintain accurate payment data in internal databases Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding ground lease servicing Support annual financial audits and respond to related inquiries Generate management and ad hoc reports as needed Contribute to special projects as assigned Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of General Ledger and Accounting experience Strong analytical and mathematical skills Excellent written and verbal communication; Ability to manage multiple priorities Deadline-driven with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance Meet tight deadlines with accuracy Benefits and notes
