As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance across domestic and international tax domains while driving process enhancements. Responsibilities

Tax Compliance: Review complex U.S. federal and state/local filings (e.g., Forms 1065, 1120, 5471, 8865, 1042, PFIC reporting) in collaboration with external tax preparers to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support international tax filings by coordinating with cross-border teams and staying updated on global regulatory requirements. Withholding Tax Expertise: Assist with advisory matters related to U.S. and international withholding tax regimes (e.g., Chapters 3 & 4, FATCA, CRS). Facilitate timely submission of withholding tax exemption forms (e.g., W-8BEN-E, treaty forms) across jurisdictions. Regulatory Monitoring: Track FIRPTA regulations, USRPHC status, Section 302 redemption events, and other evolving legal requirements impacting U.S. investment portfolios. Research & Advisory: Conduct thorough research on complex U.S. and international tax issues, providing informed recommendations in collaboration with external advisors when needed. Process Improvement: Contribute to refining internal policies by participating in automation projects, enhancing controls, and elevating documentation standards. Qualifications

Experience & Credentials: A minimum of four years\' substantive U.S. tax experience gained at a Big Four firm or equivalent institution within the financial services sector (e.g., hedge fund, private equity, venture capital). CPA qualification required; Enrolled Agent credentials will also be considered favorably. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of U.S. partnership taxation rules and corporate tax regulations, including anti-deferral provisions for multinational entities. Familiarity with international tax matters such as withholding regimes or cross-border documentation requirements is highly desirable but not mandatory. Skills & Attributes: Exceptional communication skills—written and verbal—to explain complex concepts clearly and build trust among stakeholders. Proven project management abilities to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines without compromising quality or accuracy.
