As a network exploitation professional, you know that understanding the adversaries’ tactics, techniques, and procedures are crucial to producing the intel that enables the success of mission owners. At Booz Allen, you can apply your vulnerability analysis, network mapping, exploitation, defensive, and IT logging process experience to execute offensive cyber operations that inform our nation’s most critical security missions. On our team, you’ll be trusted to probe targets using the latest network-based analysis tools. Using your innate curiosity and technical expertise, you’ll use available information to select attack vectors and match attack vectors to tools, capabilities, and mission intent. In this role, you’ll uncover previously unknown and emerging adversary capabilities that impact national security by uncovering previously unknown and emerging adversary capabilities using client proprietary and open-source tools. You Have: 8+ years of experience with hands-on signals intelligence (SIGINT) or electronic intelligence (ELINT) 8+ years of experience recognizing and working with various networks or communications protocols Experience with satellite communication platforms and protocols Knowledge of router or switch configuration and network infrastructure Ability to understand, interpret, analyze, and exploit signals, emitters, or telemetry Ability to query, parse, or decode protocol-based traffic or data TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with network exploitation or signals intelligence analysis, or Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience with network exploitation or signals intelligence analysis Nice If You Have: Experience with cyber-focused mission partners Experience with signal or intelligence-specific tools or databases for ELINT or telemetry Experience with programming or scripting for automation or forensics using languages such as Python Experience with penetration testing tools Knowledge of IT logging best practices Knowledge of log or data querying tools such as Splunk Ability to create network diagrams utilizing tools like Microsoft Visio Ability to document findings, generate standard and ad-hoc reports, present and brief both technical and non-technical stakeholders Certified Ethical Hacker, Network+, A+, or equivalent Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
