Annual Bonus About You

Are you pumped about finding exceptional companies with outstanding and aligned management and deep "moats"? Do you thrive on deep research, independent thinking, and the challenge of identifying high-quality companies capable of compounding returns over the long term? If so, we would love to connect. We are seeking a thoughtful Investment Analyst who can combine rigorous financial analysis with strategic insight to uncover outstanding opportunities. You will play a direct role in shaping investment decisions by identifying businesses with strong moats, disciplined capital allocation, and sustainable long-term growth. We value original thinkers with a deep intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for discovering hidden opportunities across various industries and around the globe. Ideally, you have genuinely "caught the investing bug," enjoying deep research, strategic long-term thinking, and forming independent, thoughtful conclusions. Key Responsibilities

Actively identify and analyze promising high-quality compounder stocks. Conduct thorough fundamental research, financial analyses, and detailed valuation modeling. Extract and interpret financial information from corporate filings, earnings transcripts, and sector-specific reports. Develop comprehensive Excel-based financial models for assessing investment opportunities. Clearly articulate investment insights, focusing on investment rationale, potential risks, and critical drivers to inform decision-making. Regularly monitor and assess current investments, identifying evolving risks and opportunities. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience). At least 5 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, equity research, investment banking, private equity, or a related financial field. Advanced Excel skills are essential; familiarity with Python or similar programming tools is beneficial. Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, SEC documentation, and various valuation techniques. Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to operate independently. Additional Considerations

Candidates demonstrating genuine interest in long-term investment philosophies—shown through personal investments, contributions to platforms like SumZero, VIC, Seeking Alpha, Substack, or relevant prior experience—will be highly regarded. We are also interested in exploring novel ways that LLMs or other AI tools can be used to analyze unstructured data to generate qualitative insights in the investment process.
