Leading consumer products company in Dallas looking for a motivated Senior Corporate Accountant to join a dynamic team fostering professional development and internal career advancement! Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Assist in the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed asset accounting. Lead and execute the month-end and year-end close processes for multiple entities and currencies. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts. Handle intercompany accounting and eliminations. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements. Assist with external and internal audits, including preparation of audit schedules and documentation. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. 3–4 years of progressive accounting experience. Background in public accounting is preferred. CPA a plus. Proven ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across cross-functional teams. Experience with automation tools and driving process improvement initiatives. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and high-quality work. Proactive problem-solver with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions. Highly adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience in a shared services environment is a plus. Compensation
$110,000 per year
