Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Location: New York, USA (Hybrid, 3 days a week in the office) Job Purpose The People & Culture Business Partner is the primary HR lead for our US operations, providing end-to-end technical HR expertise with a strong focus on compliance, workforce analytics, AI-enabled HR practices, and Learning & Development. This role combines deep knowledge of US employment law, HR systems, compensation practices, and people data insights with the ability to design and deliver impactful learning solutions that build capability across the business. Operating as part of a global People & Culture team, the Business Partner delivers structured, data-led solutions across recruitment, performance, employee relations, learning, reward, and organisational change. The role requires a confident, resilient professional who can operate with autonomy, apply rigour to people processes, and leverage AI, analytics, and L&D expertise to deliver scalable, future-focused people solutions. Key Responsibilities
Act as the lead People & Culture contact for the US, delivering accurate, compliant, and commercially aligned advice across the full employee lifecycle. Lead and execute recruitment activity for US roles, particularly in sales, ensuring structured, data-driven and AI-supported hiring practices that deliver diverse, high-performing talent. Own HR compliance for the US, including federal, state, and local employment legislation, employee handbooks, and workplace policies. Provide coaching to managers on performance management, employee relations, and organisational change, ensuring decisions are legally robust and commercially sound. Drive the technical use of HR systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll, benefits platforms), embedding AI-enabled tools for recruitment, performance, and learning. Partner with Finance on compensation, benefits, and reward processes, ensuring US packages are benchmarked, competitive, and aligned to global frameworks. Lead workforce analytics for the US, using AI-driven insights and people data to analyse trends on turnover, hiring effectiveness, performance, DEI, and engagement. Present clear, actionable recommendations to leadership. Design, deliver, and evaluate Learning & Development initiatives tailored to the US workforce, including onboarding, sales capability, leadership development, and compliance training. Introduce and integrate AI-enabled and digital learning solutions to drive continuous learning at scale, ensuring outcomes are measurable and aligned to business goals. Support workforce planning, including headcount forecasting, role design, and succession planning, with an emphasis on data accuracy, predictive analytics, and cost control. Champion employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring the US team is connected to the broader organisation and culture. Contribute to global People & Culture projects, bringing a US perspective and embedding AI-enabled practices that scale globally. Provide line management support to the Office Manager, setting clear objectives, ensuring operational standards, and developing capability. Key Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Significant experience as a HR Business Partner in the US, with demonstrable technical expertise across compliance, ER, workforce analytics, and AI-enabled HR practices. Strong background in Learning & Development, with experience designing and delivering training, leadership development, and capability-building programmes. Proven track record of using HR data and AI-powered analytics to drive decision-making and measure impact. Skilled in HR technology, e.g. HiBob, with strong capability in embedding AI and automation to improve accuracy and efficiency. Demonstrable expertise in recruitment, learning, and talent management, with the ability to link programmes to measurable business outcomes. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide practical, commercially minded solutions. Experience working with sales teams or in a commercial environment, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders. Attributes
