Job Summary Under supervision of the Program Director, performs a variety of national security non-laboratory research and clerical tasks to assist investigators in the collection, verification, and compilation of research information for the Security Research Hub and the Open-Source Methodologies grants.

Assist in the development of methodologies for data collection and visualization for Forecasting Security Threats in Central America.

Conduct research on critical security challenges at the micro, meso, and macro levels to produce methodologies.

Compile and verify the accuracy of research information to determine acceptability based on quality criteria defined by control procedures; abstract, classify, and code data to be included in the Security Research Hub.

Enter data into a database for the Security Research Hub.

Search library reference materials for necessary research information.

Prepare and maintain files of research materials. Compile and edit indices.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma with three (3) years of experience; OR two (2) years of post-secondary education with one (1) year of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
