Overview
Our large Pharmaceutical client is seeking a Scientist to join their Biologics Discovery & Development Group in Spring House, PA. This individual will provide protein biochemistry services to support the bioanalytical laboratory, including protein conjugation, purification, and characterization. Other responsibilities include: Hands-on lab research for purification and characterization of antibodies or other proteins expressed from a variety of sources. Preparing and managing the preparation of critical buffer inventory stocks. Design, execute and interpret experiments with manager's approval. Assess biophysical and/or biochemical properties of assay reagents. Submit data and outcomes to manager and follow directions on next steps. Operate laboratory equipment and instruments in adherence to laboratory SOPs and safety training. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and help with daily protein purification and conjugation work. Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry or a related field of study. 2-5 years of protein purification and conjugation experience. Experience with HPLC or FPLC. Experience with immunoassays is preferred. Details
Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Hiring Method: Multiyear contract – After 1 year on contract, opportunity to apply for a permanent role or have contract renewed for another year Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K plans available Seniority level
