Responsibilities
Provide exemplary service and ensure Culinary Standards of Service are met, including resolving guest concerns, investigating and providing recommendations to correct recurring guest issues, ensuring all team members provide the highest level of guest courtesy, recognizing and rewarding team members who provide exemplary service.
Track daily inventory and complete orders based on facility needs.
Manage daily operations of assigned location throughout the day, including opening on time, maintaining proper food levels, keeping guest areas clean, and ensuring stations are properly staffed.
Monitor and control labor and cost-of-sales by ensuring items are dated, recipes followed, portions correct, and items plated properly.
Communicate operational issues including equipment failure, product problems, and facility integrity concerns to management.
Manage daily sub-department labor, daily break rotations, and daily staffing assignments.
Assist Culinary Operation manager with training of team members and assistant supervisors while ensuring adherence to SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards, including conducting facility trainings at each location.
Supervise and counsel team members and assistant supervisors, ensuring proper training and development in accordance with SEA guidelines.
Complete appropriate paperwork and administer developmental documentation.
Accurately record team member labor hours and maintain various labor reports.
Ensure compliance with Child Labor Laws regarding breaks, lunches, and hours worked per day.

What Else Is Important
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least six (6) months of leadership experience or equivalent external experience.
No significant performance deficiencies within a 1 year period.
Maintain food quality and sanitation standards to prevent cross-contamination while upholding SEA safety guidelines.
Establish and maintain a positive atmosphere which ensures the highest level of team member engagement.
Comply with area opening and closing procedures and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Practice safe work habits including PPE use, lifting, and reporting unsafe situations.
Ability to make rational decisions independently and implement changes in the operation when appropriate.
Ability to work independently or lead multiple personnel as part of a team.
Strong knowledge of department standards and health and food safety regulations.
Knowledgeable in all areas of the department including team member and supervisory roles.
Understanding of daily operations (kitchen, front and back areas), procedures and staff positions.
Ability to pro-actively plan daily operations and staff positions.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Position is contingent upon successful completion of the ServSafe Food Manager certification class and exam.
Ability to complete all required legal, company, and department training within established timelines.
Willingness to comply with SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
