Lead innovative bridge design and engineering projects with Fisher Associates. Fisher Associates is actively seeking a Bridge Project Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to lead bridge design, structural analysis, inspection, and load rating of transportation infrastructure projects. As a key member of our civil/structural engineering team, you’ll collaborate on multidisciplinary projects, applying your bridge engineering expertise in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Lead bridge design, including load rating, structural analysis, and foundation design. Develop design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge and transportation structures. Maintain accurate records of project details, including design documents, progress reports, and budget information. Participate in project planning meetings, coordinating tasks to meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Support project managers with schedules, documentation, and presentations as needed. Ensure compliance with safety codes, design standards, and regulatory requirements. Conduct field inspections and prepare detailed bridge and culvert inspection reports. Provide technical support during construction: respond to RFIs, conduct site visits, and ensure design integrity. Collaborate with internal teams, subconsultants, regulatory agencies, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery. Mentor junior staff and support their technical development. What We Offer

B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred. Over 10 years of transportation experience; structures/bridge design experience preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain. Experience with MicroStation, STAAD, and bridge design software preferred.
