Information Systems Technician Analyst (Information Sys Tech Analyst 3) 22212 – Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII). Summary: Huntington Ingalls Industries Mission Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Technician Analyst to support the National Security Space Institute (NSSI) at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. What You Will Do

The Space Power Lab (SPL) Systems Administrator provides technical expertise in SPL modeling and simulation characterization, scenario development, and analysis. They maintain the daily operations of SPL networks and work with NSSI IT to define SPL system solutions to meet the NSSI’s mission. This role focuses on maintaining the framework and tools needed to validate the software and hardware systems that power the SPL, including the simulation suite, execution engine, and telemetry processing & analysis tooling. The SPL Systems Administrator supports the development and lifecycle maintenance of the NSSI’s SPL, including supporting, analyzing and developing solutions to complex technical problems associated with the design of simulators and working closely with the SPL Team to prioritize the NSSI’s requirements. Experience In Below Areas Operate and maintain software suites to include but not limited to: Automated Scriptor Simulator Exercise Trainer (ASSET), Agile Client, Falcon View, Global Command and Control Systems – Joint (GCCS-J), GPS Interface and Navigation Tool (GIANT), Integrated Solutions for Situational Awareness Workstation (ISSA-Wks), Spark Chat, Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF), Processing and Display Subsystem Migration (PDS-M), System Toolkit (STK), and Integrated C4I System Framework (ICSF) in a classified, closed environment. Maintain security posture for the Space Power Lab and its Authority to Operate (ATO). Monitor SPL network performance and adjust as needed. Maintain baseline hardware and software capability. Perform SPL systems test preparation, execution, troubleshooting, and verification. Operate and administer SPL as a classroom with student workstations, controller workstations and servers emulating an AOC in a closed SECRET environment. Perform SPL recovery operations and data backups as required. Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures. Maintain and administer computer networks and SPL computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations. Prepare a Microsoft Windows Active Directory network spanning multiple rooms. Review, prepare, and update RMF authorization package artifacts. Notify customer when changes occur that might affect IT systems accreditation package. Perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture, and update a security risk management plan with other System Administrators, Cybersecurity Liaisons and ISSM/ISSO. Provide Configuration Management recommendations for security-relevant information system software and hardware. Perform risk analysis (e.g., threat, vulnerability, probability) whenever an application or system undergoes a major change. Apply cybersecurity policies and techniques to maintain security integrity of information systems processing information. Conduct vulnerability scans and recognize vulnerabilities in security systems. Flexible work schedules may be required to support course schedules and contingencies according to a mutually agreed schedule. What We’re Looking For

5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in related field; 3 years with a Master's; 0 years with a PhD/JD; or 9 years with a High School Diploma or equivalent. Active DoD TS/SCI clearance Knowledge of Windows Active Directory including DNS, IIS, DHCP, RADIUS, and other DoD Space/Air Force applications for the NSSI SPL. Experience with RMF, NIST SP 800-53, STIGs and other IA tools. Experience updating cyber artifacts and related documentation to maintain ATOs. Customer service focus with help desk-like experience. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred; 5 years of System Administration and Cybersecurity Liaison experience may substitute for degree. Security+ CE (active). Preferred Requirements

Familiarity with government cybersecurity procedures and network requirements. Experience maintaining user accounts in AFNET and/or other government networks as a cybersecurity liaison. Cisco IOS on fiber switches. Experience with Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10/11 clients. Understanding of programmatic issues, risks and corrective actions. Skilled communicator.
