Overview
Senior DevOps Engineer in Lakeland, FL at a Kforce client. Build and maintain infrastructure and tools enabling rapid software development and deployment. Collaborates with development, QA, and IT operations to automate processes, monitor systems, and improve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability. Provides production support for customer-facing and supporting infrastructure. Responsibilities
Define and develop DevOps infrastructure projects Design and implement secure automation solutions for environments relative to the SDLC (development, staging/UAT, production) Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments Manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Establish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate collaboration Analyze current technology and develop steps to improve and expand them Participate in on-call rotations and incident response processes May perform other duties as assigned Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field; equivalent working experience acceptable At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role Experience with cloud security, such as managing users, roles, and privileges through IAM Ability to integrate vulnerability assessment tools with CI/CD pipeline Proficient in scripting/programming languages for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) Excellent troubleshooter Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools (TeamCity, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI) Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and security principles Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools Experience with compliance and security standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001) Customer service skills; can manage difficult customer situations, respond promptly to needs, solicit feedback, and meet commitments Benefits and Compensation
The base pay range is $55.00/hr - $59.00/hr. This range is provided for informational purposes and may be modified in the future. Final compensation will be based on skills and experience. Equal Opportunity
