Model Based Software Engineer - DC-DC Develop the vehicle charging software using a model-based approach according to system-level requirements. Experience with the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering, documentation, architecture design, software implementation and unit testing. Perform vehicle charging tests for software release, regression testing, and interoperability testing. Interact with different EVSE manufacturers and charging network operators to troubleshoot interoperability issues. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical/electronics engineering or a related technical field is required; Master’s degree or higher is preferred. 2+ years of software engineering experience related to vehicle charging. Strong working knowledge of vehicle charging systems and charging standards, such as J1772 and ISO 15118. Experience in PLC communication protocols using sniffers for debugging and troubleshooting. Experience testing with different EVSEs and DCFCs for global markets (North America, Europe, China); willingness to travel for vehicle testing. Understanding of vehicle system architecture and system-level interaction between ECUs in electric vehicles. Experience configuring BSWs with AUTOSAR configuration tools (e.g., Vector, EB). Experience developing software for vehicle diagnostics (DIDs, DTCs, UDS). Experience using automotive development and debugging tools (Vector CANape, CANalyzer, CAN/Ethernet sniffing tools). Ability to create detailed test plans and conduct interoperability testing. Proficiency with Jama, Jira/Confluence. Knowledge of high voltage safety and product safety concepts. Good organizational skills. Salary and Benefits
Base Pay Range (Annual): $128,800 - $177,100 USD Additional compensation and benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. Eligible for Lucid’s equity program and/or discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules.
