CRISTA Ministries ("CRISTA") is a Christian church community dedicated to expressing its Christian beliefs. We believe that all Christians are part of the priesthood of all believers, as described in 1 Peter 2, and that this priesthood calls us to view our work as a ministry. Our community considers all representatives as ministers of the gospel, exercising and teaching our beliefs (1 Corinthians 12:17-23). CRISTA aims to make known the love of Jesus Christ through service and ministry, reaching people worldwide and locally through various ministries including World Concern, CRISTA Media, CRISTA Camps, King’s Schools, and CRISTA Senior Living. Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach, Athletic Director, and/or High School Principal Supervises:
Participants in the program Basic Function:
To support the mission of King’s Schools and foster an environment where student-athletes can excel as individuals and team members. Primary Responsibilities
Year-Round:
Understand and teach the rules of the sport as per WIAA, conference, and national guidelines; attend rules clinics; stay updated on coaching techniques; assist the head coach; meet WIAA coaching standards; promote athletic programs; maintain CPR/First Aid certification; have van certification; conduct yourself professionally; be familiar with the coach’s handbook. Seasonal:
Assist with registration and equipment issuance; meet with participants to discuss rules and codes; attend planning meetings; during the season, conduct yourself ethically and professionally; assist with equipment and facility care; supervise athletes; attend practices and games; promote sportsmanship; evaluate the program; support a positive educational environment. End of Season:
Oversee equipment return and storage; suggest awards; recommend improvements; report to coaches and directors. Additional Responsibilities
Carry out any other duties assigned by the head coach or athletic director, such as scouting or supervision tasks. Statement of Nondiscrimination
