– Full-time What You’ll Do

Curriculum Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement weekly play-based, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development, reflecting our core values, program philosophy, and state educational standards. Create a positive classroom culture that fosters belonging, safety, and curiosity. Child Development Observation and Assessment: Observe and assess each child’s development and progress, using this information to tailor instruction and support individual learning needs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of child progress and development, reflecting our mission and commitment to communication and collaboration. Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom culture where children feel safe, supported, and valued, and manage behavior using positive reinforcement and guidance techniques. Parent and Family Communication: Provide daily updates through the company’s Parent Communication app about the child’s daily progress and development. Communicate as needed by policy (phone, written, in-person) and collaborate with families to support learning at school and at home. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practices to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. What You’ll Need

Must meet Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) qualifications for a Lead Teacher in a licensed child care center. Demonstrated experience working with young children in a licensed early childhood education setting. Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to work effectively as part of a team. Physical requirements: ability to stand or sit for extended periods; lifting and carrying; bending, stooping, kneeling; ability to respond quickly to emergencies; willingness to undergo background checks and meet state licensing requirements. Other Requirements

Must be able to commute to the assigned school. Valid CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment. Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting up to 65 lbs, kneeling, crouching, etc.). Initiative, a positive attitude, and flexibility; comfortable with technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, online lesson planning, daily reporting). What We Offer
