Google About The Job In this role, you will enable a new and innovative service line within Google Cloud, functioning as part of a product deployment and support team with a strong focus on customer experience. You will provide both remote and on-site support for deploying new cloud capacity and technologies, demonstrating strong customer focus and meticulous attention to detail. Support capacity deployment by managing build milestones and timelines. Troubleshoot OS-related issues and improve diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques for faster recovery. Deploy and configure integrated hardware and software solutions remotely and on customer sites. Utilize software tools for inventory management, OS configuration, and troubleshooting. Contribute to creating and enhancing documentation for new platforms and support activities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role troubleshooting hardware, software, in cloud or on-premises server infrastructure management, including diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware, and server hardware. Ability to lift/move 50lb (23kg) of equipment and ability to exert yourself physically over extended periods of time, including frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and lifting. Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Computer Networking such as TCP/IP, Routing, load balancing, etc. Experience working with public cloud like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud computing platform. Experience debugging workload issues across multi node environments. Experience with performing component-level repairs on IT equipment.
