M&J Engineering is urgently seeking talented professionals for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Rail Mechanical Infrastructure Rehabilitation project. This long-term initiative aims to maintain and improve vital rail infrastructure, with immediate (Phase 1) and upcoming (Phase 2) opportunities. Location:
Primarily Washington, D.C., with work at WMATA RBIR Office and various project sites. In-person presence is required for many roles. Responsibilities
Phase 1 - Immediate Opportunities:
Project Engineer (Full-Time):
Supports project administration and technical tasks, manages documentation in Procore, and assists with project controls. Requires 5+ years of project management experience and a related bachelor's degree. Change Order Coordinator (Part-Time):
Manages change order processes, including development, tracking, and negotiations. Requires 10+ years of project control experience on large infrastructure projects. Quality and Safety/Security Certification (SSC) Manager (Full-Time):
Oversees QA/QC programs, conducts audits, and ensures safety and security compliance. Requires 10+ years of QA/QC experience in construction engineering. Construction Inspector – Mechanical (Full-Time):
Performs quality inspections, documents progress, and ensures compliance. Requires 7+ years of mechanical rehabilitation inspection experience. Construction Facilitator (Full-Time):
Coordinates field activities, assigns inspector duties, and manages schedules. Requires a bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience. Phase 2 - Upcoming Opportunities:
Project Manager (Full-Time):
Leads projects, manages budgets, schedules, and stakeholders. Requires 20+ years of experience managing large projects and a related bachelor's degree. Construction Engineer (Full-Time):
Provides technical support, manages contractor work, and oversees submittals. Requires a bachelor's in engineering and 7+ years of construction management experience. Project Engineer (Full-Time):
Supports upcoming projects with administrative and technical tasks. Requires 5+ years of project management experience. Construction Inspector – Structural (Full-Time):
Performs structural inspections, documents, and ensures compliance. Requires 7+ years of structural inspection experience. Construction Inspector – Electrical (Full-Time):
Performs electrical inspections and documentation. Requires 7+ years of electrical inspection experience. System Integration Software Engineer (Part-Time):
Ensures seamless system integration. Specific experience details will be provided upon activation. 3rd Party Structural Special Inspection Firm (On-Call):
