A school district in Bedford, OH is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support the academic, emotional, and behavioral development of elementary school students. This contracted role is for the full school year and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners lives by providing comprehensive psychological services within a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students learning needs and strengths Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff Provide counseling and support services to students to address social-emotional challenges Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to enhance student outcomes Assist with behavior management strategies and crisis intervention as needed Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in compliance with district and legal regulations
Qualifications
Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and administrators
