The AV Events Team provides comprehensive event support throughout the lifecycle of large-scale corporate events. The team includes individuals skilled in AV technical pre-production, equipment recommendations, and live event technical execution. The AV/VC Events Technician will assist with in-room presentations, provide technical support for AV equipment, and may work flexible hours, including after hours or weekends. Responsibilities

Act as event production A1 or A2, Graphics, or TD/switching, depending on show needs. Set up, configure, operate, and support event productions. Possess advanced knowledge of current audio/video standards and equipment. Serve as the primary contact for audio and video production items during events. Ensure high-quality streaming and event space experiences. Follow the run-of-show document for proper show flow. Collaborate with crew members before and during shows. Participate in pre-show production meetings. Test all playback elements for proper operation. Ensure audio levels and video feeds are accurate for records. Program and operate switchers, graphics, mixers, microphones, and ancillary audio gear. Manage gear configuration upgrades and develop new show elements. Work with presenters to place and track lav microphones. Prepare, organize, and track microphones and equipment. Reset space after events to pre-production standards. Communicate with executive leadership and support staff for high-profile events. Coordinate with clients and internal departments. Skills

Detail-oriented, motivated self-starter. Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines. Adaptability and good interpersonal skills. Professionalism and composure under pressure. Ability to work independently and ask questions when needed. Ability to simplify technical AV information for non-experts. Bachelor's degree preferred; experience considered. Preferred Certifications: AVIXA CTS. Experience with corporate events in a corporate setting. Knowledge of AV signal flow and troubleshooting. Familiarity with AV equipment and systems like routers, switchers, recording devices, audio mixers, microphones, lighting, cameras, and software such as Zoom, Google Suite, Keynote, Slack, Dante Controller, Smaart 8, Mbox/Qlab/Playback Pro/Quicktime.
