We are seeking Industry Professionals to share their knowledge and experience with undergraduate BSN nursing students on-site in Addison, IL. This is a part-time faculty position for a four-course sequence: Anatomy & Physiology I-IV with Lab (BIOS-251 Thru BIOS-256). Courses may meet once per week or twice a week for eight weeks; face-to-face interaction in lab and classroom is blended with technology for an enhanced learning environment. Locations: Addison, IL (on-site). Days: Monday - Saturday (Choose 2 days). Days and evenings are available. Anatomy & Physiology I-IV With Lab (BIOS-251 Thru BIOS-256) Topics include basic anatomical and directional terminology, muscle tissues, cell biology, history of the integumentary and skeletal systems Muscular and nervous systems, special senses, endocrine system Cardiovascular, immune and respiratory systems Digestive, urinary and reproductive systems Responsibilities and outcomes are aligned with the program’s course terminal objectives and university templates. Develops and provides students with an approved Adtalem Global Education syllabus that follows a campus template and includes terminal course objectives. Organizes, prepares, and regularly revises course materials. Uses appropriate online and campus technologies for course preparation and accessibility to students (websites, email, online discussions). Models effective oral and written communication to engage students and improve learning. Publishes course terminal objectives, assignment/examination dates, and distributes evaluation weights clearly. Ensures content and level of material on exams aligns with terminal objectives. Demonstrates consistency and fairness in exam preparation and grading; provides timely feedback. Completes other duties as assigned; complies with all policies and standards. Qualifications
Master’s Degree is required for all faculty positions (with 18 graduate hours in the subject being taught for undergraduate teaching). Subject matter expertise and outstanding communication skills; ability to work in a diverse, non-traditional environment. Excellent motivational and instructional skills; ability to work collegially and facilitate diverse groups. Additional requirements driven by state licensing or accreditation considerations may apply. Additional Information
Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Campus:
In support of pay transparency laws, the expected compensation rate is between $1,120 per assignment and $7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience. Actual pay may be adjusted based on factors permitted by law, such as course type, experience, location, licensure and certifications, market factors, budgets, and responsibility.
