Under the direction of the Deputy Commissioner of Technology, the Manager Information Technology Services 1 will provide management oversight and support for a broad spectrum of security actions and functions throughout the bureau. Responsibilities
Review contracts, service level agreements, and memorandum of understanding language to verify and ensure they meet information security needs and requirements. Manage and resolve security threats to agency information systems. Manage and implement information security and compliance programs. Work with internal and external partners on information security issues. Act as information security lead on projects and initiatives to ensure security by design through implementation of the Secure Systems Development Lifecycle (SSDLC). Provide information security expertise, advice, and recommendations to agency executives. Monitor and remain aware of information security industry trends, tools, and techniques. Monitor information security compliance and recommend improvements. Collect and maintain risk register, including reporting and tracking of remediation. Participate in the identification and modeling of new threat scenarios to provide proactive defensive measures. Participate in the development, interpretation, review, and communication of information security policies, procedures, and standards. Participate in the continuous monitoring and protection of technology resources and determines events that require investigation and response. Participate in cyber incident response. Support the implementation and improvement of information security. Develop and/or maintain metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the program. Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Seven years of information technology, cybersecurity, or information assurance experience, including one year at the supervisory level. Substitutions: A bachelor's or higher-level degree in any field, including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science or related field, substitutes for three years of required experience.
