Bloomberg’s Global Infrastructure, Data Center & Workplace Sustainability teams manage the performance of our buildings and services in more than 160 locations worldwide, including mission-critical datacenters. We support day-to-day maintenance and operations, capital improvements and new data center construction projects. We work closely with Global Real Estate (GRE), Engineering, Global Sustainability Office (GSO), and other partners to operationalize Bloomberg’s ESG strategy and deliver enterprise sustainability commitments. The Program Manager will lead and coordinate special projects and strategic initiatives within the Critical Infrastructure department. This role ensures the seamless execution of cross-functional programs that support department capital projects, operations, sustainability initiatives, and administrative tasks within the global infrastructure portfolio. The ideal candidate will provide high-level administrative and operational support to critical infrastructure leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and governance standards. The role requires an organized, detail-oriented leader who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with Engineering, Security Operations, Global Sustainability, Corporate Technology, and Corporate Finance to align our strategy with business needs. Responsibilities
Engage with stakeholders across Engineering, Data, Corporate Technology, Security Operations, Corporate Finance, and Sustainability to align initiatives and meet program objectives Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle, applying program management discipline to manage expectations and prioritize tradeoffs Develop strategic project plans with stakeholders and product managers, defining scope, timelines, deliverables, and interdependencies across multiple teams Oversee program risks, interdependencies, and cross-team collaboration to ensure deliverables are completed Act as an escalation point, manage issues, anticipate risks, and develop mitigation plans Collaborate with leadership to manage change within business plans Manage multiple programs simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities Prioritize, plan, decision-making, and resource management across internal teams and stakeholders Foster relationships to drive alignment across multi-disciplinary teams Drive end-to-end program execution aligned with goals, timelines, budgets, and quality standards Develop and maintain program plans, risk registers, and communication strategies for transparency Assist in program and vendor management related to design, build, and operations of mission-critical data center infrastructure Develop, monitor, and report KPIs, milestones, and deliverables to leadership Support program governance with regular reviews and presentations to steering committees Champion continuous improvement to optimize infrastructure reliability, scalability, and sustainability Ability to manage and lead capital projects valued between $500k-$5M Financial and Governance
Assist in preparation of budgets, ROMs and schedules for project development Assist in management of operational and capital improvement budgets and financial governance Assist in vendor POs, change management and invoice processing Coordinate change management processes including procedural developments and risk assessments You’ll Need To Have
7+ years in relevant Program and Change Management experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (STEM field preferred) Superior written and verbal communication skills with ability to work independently, stay resilient and adaptable Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to summarize insights for senior stakeholders Experience in managing schedules and driving collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Highly organized, good problem-solving skills, working knowledge of project management tools Legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future Nice to Have
Experience with Project Management, Mission Critical Facilities, Sustainability, Construction, Real Estate Leases, or Transaction/Commercial Agreements Experience with Smartsheet, eBuilder, Trimble, Procore, Autodesk or other PM platforms Experience with operation and maintenance of Critical Infrastructure and Systems PMP Certification Notes
