Responsibilities

Drive the technical vision and execution of complex, multi-quarter projects across multiple engineering teams

Architect and build mission-critical trading systems, including order management and execution engines

Partner with product management, design, and other functions to align product strategy with technical direction

Mentor and coach less experienced engineers to foster their growth and development

Elevate engineering quality through design and code reviews, promoting best practices

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record in large-scale distributed systems

Deep expertise in trading systems, with hands-on experience in areas like order management and execution algorithms

Proven ability to lead complex initiatives across organizational boundaries

Strong mentoring skills and a passion for developing team members

High standards for quality, correctness, and operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in building complicated trading systems

Prior experience in financial markets, particularly equities, FX, or crypto

Familiarity with regulated environments and compliance design

Experience with Go or other performant backend languages

Contributions to open source projects or trading protocols
