In the role of multidisciplinary Oil and Gas Project EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to do the following: Responsibilities
Lead engineering duties for multi-disciplined natural gas pipelines, liquids pipelines, and facility projects as part of a rapidly expanding Oil & Gas program within the United States. Mentor younger engineering staff on design codes and considerations in these fields. Review and/or perform linear pipeline design and associated calculations, verify code and standard compliance, and perform quality checks. Review manufacturers drawings, prepare procurement specifications and construction documents, conduct bid evaluations, and participate in conceptual design studies and report writing. Select materials and equipment, observe construction, participate in project meetings and permitting, and perform other tasks as assigned. On occasion, manage task-level efforts on projects and may function as a deputy Project Manager. Travel for internal project team meetings, client meetings, contractors and vendors; travel typically is
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of years of related oil and gas industry experience. Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator role and expected to obtain their EIT for career progression. Experience with natural gas pipelines and trenchless crossings is preferred. Experience with natural gas regulating facilities is preferred. Ability to perform site investigations, evaluate permitting requirements, assess environmental conditions, and make determinations. Experience interfacing with Federal, State, and local agencies as well as community boards for project planning is beneficial. Preferred computer skills include AutoCAD, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Earth; ArcGIS is strongly preferred. Self-motivated, creative with strong organizational, interpersonal, writing and presentation skills. Ability to work with little direction to meet project goals and translate conceptual directions into detailed plans. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to multitask across multiple projects. A valid driver's license and safe driving record is required. #LI-EV1 Required Qualifications
