ERP Systems Administrator

The ERP Systems Administrator will serve as the primary system administrator for the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, with a focus on IFS. This role ensures the ERP platform is properly configured, secure, and optimized to support daily operations across multiple functions. The ERP Systems Administrator will manage system permissions, data integrity, upgrades, and user support, while partnering with internal teams to improve usability and system performance. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, you’ll primarily work with our IT team and internal customers. A highlight of your day-to-day will include: System Administration: Create and modify permission sets to manage user access and maintain security. System Administration: Develop and maintain lobbies, lobby datasets, and lobby elements to enhance usability and visibility. System Administration: Monitor license usage to ensure compliance and cost efficiency. System Administration: Configure and modify page layouts to meet evolving business requirements. System Administration: Manage and update basic data across all ERP modules to ensure data integrity and accuracy. System Administration: Create and maintain site-level data to support operational needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for: System Maintenance & Support: Manage and resolve IFS support cases, escalating issues as appropriate. System Maintenance & Support: Oversee IFS upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption to operations. System Maintenance & Support: Provide tier 2 and tier 3 technical support to ERP users. You will also focus on: Continuous Improvement: Partner with business units to identify opportunities to optimize ERP usage. Continuous Improvement: Assist in designing workflows, dashboards, and reporting to support business intelligence and decision-making. Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement best practices for ERP administration, governance, and data management. We are looking for: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered. 3+ years of experience in ERP administration, preferably with IFS or a comparable ERP system. Strong knowledge of ERP security, permission structures, and data management. Experience managing ERP upgrades, patches, and system configurations. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide advanced user support. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
