Overview
School Nutrition Worker Float – One Year Temporary 30-hour Position We are seeking a School Nutrition worker floater to support multiple school kitchens across our district. As a floater, you’ll help ensure students receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a clean, safe and friendly environment. This position is Monday through Friday (6 hours per day). Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch according to USDA and district guidelines Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and cafeteria Travel between school sites to fill in as needed Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent Valid Maine CHRC (background & fingerprinting) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Knowledge and use of a computer Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods Previous food service experience preferred but not required Flexibility and a positive attitude START DATE:
Immediately SALARY:
