Support Equipment Integration Specialist
(Mid and Lead Levels) in
Hazelwood, Missouri . This role provides project management and integration leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, including internal and external resources and customers. The position is the primary point of contact on behalf of the Support Equipment organization to Program Management and is responsible for managing the Support Equipment statement of work throughout the lifecycle from proposal to delivery. Key duties include working with customers and management to obtain approval, responding to and negotiating changes to the statement of work, assessing impact on deliverables, resources, costs, and schedules, leading project execution, planning and coordinating resources, defining risk mitigation and opportunity plans, and providing technical, business, and integration leadership for project or team plans. This role reports to the Manager of Support Equipment Integration. A proactive and highly motivated individual who can manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision is sought. Responsibilities
Provides Project Management and Integration to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers Manage the Support Equipment statement of work throughout the lifecycle from Proposal to Delivery Work with customers and management to obtain approval Respond to changes to SOW, assess impact, and negotiate changes to determine modifications to deliverables, resources, costs and schedules Lead project execution to complete the work statement Plan, identify, and coordinate resources required over the life of the project or program Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunity Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned Provide technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans Travel at least 10% of the time to meet customer needs Work under minimal direction Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
A Bachelor's Degree or higher 6+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years of experience in Program Management Best Practices (e.g., Requirements Management, Resource Management, Integrated Planning and Scheduling, Financial Oversight (EVM), Program Performance Management, Supplier Integration, RIO (Risk, Issue, Opportunity) Management, Program Communication, Senior Leadership Reviews) 3+ years of experience integrating supplier or partner plans and schedules into the Program schedule and managing the integrated Master Schedule at the Program level This position is expected to be 100% onsite at Hazelwood, MO Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Familiar with Boeing Management Best Practices, Program startup, and US Government EXPORT requirements Knowledge of support Equipment tools such as BORIS, DE2, Tableau Dashboards, and CRIs Knowledge of support equipment design, development, production, and sustainment with emphasis on "Operational and Maintenance Capabilities" for both on and off platform support Experience evaluating supplier bids, coordinating supplier deliveries, troubleshooting supplier performance issues, and working with Boeing Procurement and suppliers to manufacture and deliver support equipment or related aircraft and training equipment Strong verbal and written communications skills to facilitate communications across multi-disciplined support equipment teams, Vertical Program (USN, USAF, etc.) organization, and foreign customers Experience in the preparation and delivery of briefings to Boeing and external customers Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Project Familiarity with integrated logistics support disciplines including Technical Publications, Spares, LSA/Provisioning as they relate to support equipment development, production and sustainment Experience with domestic customer bases including USN, USMC, US Army, USAF and SOCOM General
